You’ve Got to Have Heart!

You do not normally get into a business because of its intangible values, but you will not stay in a business long that does not have higher values.

Even in the most generous nation in the history of the world, this company and its people are among the most giving  of all. The founding families, who began as working class people, have donated almost $400 million to religious, medical, educational and civic causes. Their established foundations target the needy around the world in a genuine effort to “give back.” Their benefactions range from the Inuit and Tahumara Indians to cancer research hospitals and symphony orchestras. In that spirit, the employees have launched a One-By-One children’s program that has since 2003 helped 6 million children with $70 million in donations and 1 million volunteer hours. Since the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami of 2011, our corporation and people has sent $4.5 million for Japan relief

Equally impressive is the generosity of  Network 21, the largest sponsor of World Vision ministries with over 60,000 orphans “adopted” with monthly donations that exceed $35 million to date. Also unique as beneficiaries of the Network 21 spirit is the Free Wheelchair Mission which has supplied 1000’s of free wheelchairs to undeveloped countries. Also unusual is the launching of an international Power Soccer program that allows paraplegic to compete in their motorized wheelchairs on three continents. Even the widespread Shoebox Donations to undeveloped countries that now surpasses 73 million to date was started by our personal business group in January, 1984(see the Wall St. Journal (6/14/1985).

Does this sound too materialistic to you? We want to make more than money; we want to make a difference!
